An application that generates advertising copies using AI

Content writers and digital marketers say this tool is extremely valuable because it allows them to serve more customers in less time and earn more.

Farhan Zaman leads a small team of copywriters at a digital marketing and advertising company called Backspace. The team is primarily responsible for writing advertising content, product details, social media posts, blog posts, etc., for the company’s client products.

Until recently, the team wrote every copy themselves (without using an app). It took them a long time to do so, after extensive product research and search engine optimization.

For a small business, hiring professional writers is very expensive and inefficient. But, now that his company subscribes to a writing app, Farhan said it takes them 80% less time.

When asked how the CopywriterPro.ai helps them, he replied, “Take, for example, I have a helmet for sale. As a copywriter, my job is to write a description of 300 or 400 words on the product.

On the CopywriterPro.ai site, all you have to do is enter a subject (here the helmet) and a keyword (some product characteristics). When you hit the enter button, the app automatically suggests a few unique headings and several paragraphs.”

Then you choose titles and text.

But Farhan also argues that no AI-based technology or tool is perfect. As a result, they also need to provide a human touch – which means a human editor has to edit a bit to achieve the desired effect. But nevertheless, Farhan is happy that it takes about 80% of the pressure off his shoulders.

So what is CopywriterPro and how does it work?

“The software is an automation tool that can generate textual content instantly. You just need to enter a keyword and the app generates unique, royalty-free content,” said Nafis Faysal, CEO and Co-Founder from CopywriterPro.ai.

“Additionally, the content quality is also very close to that of professionals. The software can create contents such as blog posts, marketing and sales texts, product details, titles and descriptions.

In addition, he can paraphrase an already prepared text. It’s basically a multi-purpose tool that writers can use for a variety of purposes,” Nafis said.

The co-founder told us that they designed an AI model. Output is generated based on user input. As more and more people use the platform, the AI ​​model improves to deliver content.

There are other AI-based writing tools outside the Bangladeshi market. How does this writing tool differ from them?

In response, Nafis said that this platform is based on OpenAI’s GPT-3 model.

OpenAI is an open-source artificial intelligence research lab that makes many of its patents and research open to the public. One of OpenAI’s models is GPT-3, which is a language model that uses deep learning to create human-like text.

“Anyone and everyone can work on this model. But everyone takes a different route in experimenting with AI. So do we. Our ultimate plan is to create a Bengali writing tool. Teach Bengali machine would require considerable effort, time and resources.

Our Bangladeshi NLP researcher built some models in Bengali which did a fantastic job. However, no one has built a Bengali copywriter based on machine learning yet,” Nafis said.

Moreover, the development of Bengali writing tools contains some technical difficulties, according to Nafis, and to overcome them, they will need a large team with huge resources.

“As a result, at the moment we are not focusing on the Bengali writing tool. But, in the future, we really want to do that,” Nafis said. He also believes that working (and tweaking) with an AI model would give him the expertise to build Bengali writing software in the future.

The platform includes several copywriting templates that help a digital marketer easily produce marketing and sales copy, product description, and more.

“The cornerstone of our services is the writing tool,” Nafis said, “Just tell our AI what topic you want to write about. And it will develop a full blog post based on keywords.”

CopywriterPro was born out of necessity. In 2020, four friends Nafis Faysal, Sakib, Sabic and Ibrahim started a software company. Since content marketing works pretty well in acquiring customers in the world of software development, the team decided to write tech blogs for content marketing purposes.

“I wrote a few technical blog posts, but that wasn’t enough,” Nafis said. “I couldn’t devote enough time because I had to do software engineering, manage our customers and do business development.”

Writing technical articles and hiring technical writers is time consuming and expensive. The situation forced the team to think creatively and innovate.

“We had worked with a lot of data and machine learning-based automation before, so we thought why not create a tool that could write blog posts for us,” Nafis explained.

The realization eventually led to CopywriterPro. “We started it to solve our own problem and meet our own need for a fast and automated content writing solution,” Nafis said. “It eventually evolved into this standalone solution as we seize the opportunity in this space.”

Currently, they have online apps and are developing chrome extensions and mobile apps – both for Android and iOS platforms. And for now, the app allows a seven-day free trial. It has three pricing plans; costs start from $5 to $99.

Originally, the app was designed with an international focus, but now it has a significant number of users from Bangladesh as well. Bangladesh has a huge number of content and digital marketplaces that operate in the prime freelance market.

Top content writers and digital marketers have said that this tool is a lifesaver because it allows them to serve more customers in less time while earning more money at the same time.

Subscribers include both individuals and companies such as Yellow Raptor, Scribblers, Backspace and many more. Currently, they have over 100 individual subscribers and a few corporate customers.

“We tried to create a product that solves a critical problem for e-commerce in the digital age,” Nafis said.
