Apple launched the second public betas of iOS 15.6 and iPadOS 15.6 to public beta testers on Wednesday. Beta releases come two weeks after the first public beta releases.
Public versions of iOS 15.6 and iPadOS 15.6 can be downloaded through the Apple Beta software program website by users registered to participate in the test program. If you want to try beta versions of upcoming operating systems, you can register for the program by clicking on the same link.
We don’t know exactly what features and fixes might be included in 15.6. However, Apple introduced all the features that were announced for version 15, so this update might just be bug and performance fixes, as Apple is probably focused on developing iOS and iPadoS 15, and instead focuses on preparing for initial betas. iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 for their debut at WWDC 2022 in June.
We’ll let you know if we hear of any new features or important fixes.
As usual, MacTrast and Apple both warn users not to install betas on their daily iPhone or iPad driver. Instead, only install beta versions on a device reserved for testing purposes.
