The game also ditched the single-player campaign, focusing on multiplayer as the focal point of the experience, with high expectations for launch.
The Battlefield 2042 beta focuses on Orbital, an active space center in French Guiana that has been turned into a war zone due to rising tensions. Teams will battle across the facility, from the widely open areas ideal for vehicles to the various complexes scattered across the map. However, danger looms due to an impending rocket launch and extreme weather conditions.

These soldiers represent a progression from the four traditional battlefield classes while playing similar play roles. The beta also includes new systems, such as a menu of real-time weapon attachments and abandoned vehicles by players.
More information on the Battlefield 2042 beta and its rollout will be released in the coming days as the test expands to include all players.
