A fan favorite of breaking Bad has been confirmed for the next film project, El Camino: A Breaking Bad Story.
Matt Jones, the hapless meth boss and drug trafficker Brandon ‘Badger’ Mayhew, will be back on board for the feature film, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

With his distinctive raspy tones, Jones appeared in 12 episodes of breaking Bad over five seasons, often starring Charles Baker’s Skinny Pete, who will also appear in El Camino.
In a teaser for the film, released in August, Skinny Pete is the main attraction, as he explains to police that he won’t help them find Aaron Paul’s Jesse Pinkman, who has gone missing.
So far there isn’t much to say about what breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan is planning the film.
Coming six years after the hit show ended and taking place after the events of season five, the synopsis explains, “Following his dramatic escape from captivity, Jesse must come to terms with his past in order to forge some sort of ‘to come up” .
This dramatic escape took place when Jesse fled the neo-Nazi compound he was imprisoned in and forced to continue brewing methamphetamine.
Bryan Cranston is believed to be involved to some extent, probably some sort of flashback-like streak, but other than that we’re in the dark.
According to THR, the film will premiere on Netflix on October 11.
