Digital and Social Media Manager

An opportunity to join a start-up in the wellness industry and launch it digitally on various platforms. You will create, build and maintain the community.

By helping launch the business, the candidate will be motivated by brand storytelling and engage with the community, obsessed with social media! The role will be to develop content for our platforms and identify and leverage digital influencers, you will be a creative thinker tasked with delivering impactful social and engaging content across the organization.

The role will also require website content management, with regular updates and additions as well as a blog.

In addition to working on the start-up, it is possible to work with the parent PR firm’s social media clients through their portfolio of clients in the hospitality industry.

  • To be successful in this role, you will have an excellent understanding of developing and publishing content and best practices for using social media, as well as a passion for evaluating future platforms and trends.
  • Create content for platforms
  • Develop social content plans and calendars, including content creation for all social media channels, making sure to maintain the tone and identity of the brand.
  • Use social tools to generate insights, report on metrics, and continually find ways to improve those metrics through testing and new initiatives
  • Establish, manage and grow our online presence through social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and other strategically relevant online properties
  • Workshop and execution of collaborations with like-minded companies, brands and individuals
  • You will have an interest in health and well-being

Your experience will include:

  • Over 3 years of experience in content and social media for a brand
  • Excellent writing skills and an eye for design
  • Strong understanding of analytics across platforms, able to use data to help optimize campaigns
  • Strong social media knowledge of key platforms namely Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube, as well as media partnerships, influencers and emerging technologies and channels.
  • Ability to develop the right voice for each social media platform.
  • Sense of belonging and pride in performance and its impact on the success of the company
  • Independent, have good time management skills and experience in project management.
  • Excellent writing in English and verbal communication.
