Resnick’s Dandelion-Inc Wins WE Grow Pitch Contest – Business Journal Daily

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Dandelion-Inc won the WE Grow pitch competition held on November 23 by Youngstown Business Incubator’s Women in Entrepreneurship program.

Dandelion founder Lisa Resnick was one of six participants in the most recent cohort of the YBI WE Grow program. The program offers four weeks of marketing strategy and tools to women entrepreneurs who have been in business for at least two years and are looking for help in taking their business to the next level.

Resnick, who is also a brokerage manager for Burgan Friedkin Commercial Group, said her Mahoning County-based company focuses on supporting women entrepreneurs and their businesses by providing social media strategy services to ensure that messages they wish to convey are correctly reflected. Dandelion will be hosting a series of events and possibly online tutorials.

She is using the $ 1,000 she received for winning the pitch competition for website design and creation in addition to the series of events, both of which are slated to launch in the first quarter of 2022, she declared.

Resnick praised the education she received not only from Wheeler during the program, but also from her fellow entrepreneurs.
