Zenless Zone Zero beta test next month

From the creators of the open-world RPG Genshin Impact come Zenless Zone Zero, which will enter its beta testing phase next month. HoYoverse is currently looking for players to participate in the closed beta test and leave feedback to further develop the game in the right direction.

Zone Zero Zenless is a future urban fantasy game set in a terrifying post-apocalyptic world. Those they call the Ethereal single-handedly destroyed the world as we know it, leaving a small band of survivors to take on the invaders of their home head-on to take back what is rightfully theirs. Players will take on the life of a Proxy, who will recruit others along their journey to help defeat the Ethereals once and for all. Each character comes with their own unique set of abilities and powers that can make for a devastating team when built correctly, creating a very neat dynamic.

For players who want to get into the life of a proxy early, they can head over to the game’s official site and throw their hats in the ring in a closed beta test shot. The only thing you need to do to participate is to register and answer a short entry survey that the developers can use to make their decisions. The site does not specify the qualifications HoYoverse may be looking for in its testers, so those who sign up should remember that signing up does not guarantee a place.

The recruitment process for the test has already started and will end on July 27, 2022, and the developers will narrow down their choices. The beta will then begin on August 4, 2022, and there is no indication yet when the beta will end. The developers mention that this will be a relatively small-scale test and that the game is still deep in its development phase currently. This means the developers don’t want testers to believe this will be the final product, as they depend on feedback to help produce a winning game in the end.
